Overlapping IP ranges between locations

Devices connecting via Tailscale IPs are always guaranteed to have unique 100.x.y.z IP addresses, regardless of which local network they are on.

However, when connecting devices using subnet routers, it is not possible to connect different networks with overlapping IP ranges. We’re exploring options — subscribe to this GitHub issue for updates.

One option that helps avoid overlaps is to use IPv6 private subnets.
