Installing Tailscale on Windows
The current version of the Tailscale client available for download requires Windows 10 or later. If you are running Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8.x, Tailscale 1.44.2 is the latest supported client version, and can be downloaded from the Tailscale Packages page.
This article shows how to install with the Tailscale .exe installer. If you want to use the

Download the latest
.exeinstaller. You can use the same.exeinstaller on both 32- and 64-bit Windows; it will install the right version for your system automatically. -
Run the installer. Note the new Tailscale icon in your system tray once installation is complete. If it is not visible, click the up arrow to find it in the system tray overflow area.

Click on the Tailscale icon to expose configuration options and status messages.

Under your account, click on Log in to launch a browser window, and authenticate using your SSO identity provider.
Congratulations! You’ve added your Windows workstation to your Tailscale network.
MDM deployments
You can use Windows registry values to apply system policies to Tailscale for Windows. Policies are typically distributed using MDM.
