Natasha Sawires

Senior Community Manager

Natasha is a passionate community builder who thrives on creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and connected. Whether you're a Tailscale pro or just here for the good company, she has a knack for amplifying voices and bringing the right people together.

Based in Toronto, when she’s not herding humans (or cats), you can find her gaming or exploring art markets and old record stores.

Brad Fitzpatrick

Chief Engineer

Brad is a pioneering software engineer best known for creating LiveJournal, memcached, and OpenID. After over a decade at Google working on Go and distributed systems, he joined Tailscale in 2020 to make networking fun and simple. Based in Seattle, he spends his time building backend systems, wrangling his homelab, and parenting three many children.

Philip Taron

Principal Member of Technical Staff, Qumulo

Philip is a 20-year veteran developer with an unmedicated addiction to core storage, distributed systems, security, and compilers. He is glad to be living in a time when that addiction is compensated with a job that lets him spend most of his time making systems that users trust with their most important data. Philip has used Tailscale personally since 2020 and been a believer in identity-first networking before it was cool.
