It’s been a busy August so far here at Tailscale. Earlier this month, we were at Black Hat Las Vegas, and enjoyed seeing all the attendees & customers who stopped by to say “hi” and learn what’s new. Check out some snaps from the event below. In product related news, we introduced user and group provisioning for Azure AD to help admins manage onboarding and offboarding of team members. We also launched Tailnet lock, which helps with node management on your tailnet. We’ve got more product updates as well as some community contributions to share this month. Let’s jump in:

GopherCon is focused on the Go programming language, but will also have discussions on: DevOps, cloud computing, web programming, hacking and more. Check us out in San Diego on Sept 28 - 29.

Join us for All Things Open in Raleigh

Sync Azure AD users and groups to Tailscale

When you use Tailscale with Azure AD, your users login and authenticate with your existing identity provider (IdP), which means that if you remove a user from Azure AD, they’ll no longer be able to log into Tailscale.

Introducing Machine Explorer, now in Tailscale’s VS Code extension

Tailscale for VS Code just got a major upgrade, bringing you the ability to explore, edit, and transfer the files on any of the nodes in your tailnet that you can reach through Tailscale SSH

Tailnet lock is now available in beta

Tailnet lock lets you verify that nodes can only be added to your tailnet when those nodes are signed by trusted nodes in your tailnet, which you manage.

tclip: A pastebin for your tailnet
