We’re excited to announce the general availability of Google Workspace integration — user and group provisioning for Google Workspace. This is a powerful new feature in Tailscale designed to allow admins to seamlessly sync their users and groups in their Google Workspace with Tailscale, streamlining access provisioning and making secure networking even easier.
What is Google Workspace integration?
Google Workspace integration enables Tailscale administrators to automatically provision users and groups from Google Workspace into a Tailscale network (or tailnet). By syncing Google Workspace users, you can automatically onboard and offboard users to your tailnet without additional work. If your organization already uses Google Groups for managing user access, you can import those groups and their members to your tailnet, and then refer to those user-friendly group names in the Tailscale policy file to define access rules.
This means no more manual updates or duplicate effort — any changes made to a Google Workspace will be reflected in your tailnet at regular intervals.

When a new employee is added to a Google Workspace, they will automatically gain access to the appropriate resources in Tailscale.
