General

TailscaleUp will take place at the SFJazz Center in San Francisco on August 26, 2026.

TailscaleUp content is specifically designed for Engineering Leaders, CISOs, Security Architects, IT and Network Managers shaping the future of secure connectivity.

The general session will be streamed for free. Stream times will be announced in August. If you’d like to watch virtually or be notified when recordings are available, please register for a free virtual pass.

Please note, afternoon breakout sessions and workshops will not be streamed or recorded.

We plan to launch our agenda in early May.



This year we are only planning to host TailscaleUp in San Francisco, however, if you’re interested in hosting a watch party in your city, click here for more information, we’d love to help!

We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone. By registering for TailscaleUp you agree to adhere to our events code of conduct, which can be found here.

All participants must be at least 18 years of age to attend TailscaleUp and all related events. All participants must have their own ticket.

Registration

An IRL pass is for people who would like to attend “in real life”, in- person in San Francisco on August 26, 2026. IRL passes get access to our sessions, homelab help desk, community hub, tasty all-day eats and drinks, general session and more!

Our virtual pass is for anyone who would like to tune into our general session but is unable to attend in person. Virtual passes are free.


The cost of your TailscaleUp ticket includes access to all keynotes, general sessions, breakouts, breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks and snacks, networking opportunities, access to our expert clinics and help desk, an official conference t-shirt and a ticket to our after party.

Now through March 31, 2026 you will receive early bird pricing for in-person conference passes. Early-bird tickets are $325 (regularly $525). No promo code needed.

Unfortunately due to the limited capacity at SFJazz, we are unable to offer discounted tickets for students at this time. We encourage you to sign up for a free virtual pass instead. If you’re interested in hosting a virtual watch party at your school/university, click here for more information, we’d love to help!

All ticket purchases for TailscaleUp are final and non-refundable. This applies to all ticket types, including early bird, general admission, and any promotional tickets.If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person at no additional cost. The new attendee must meet any applicable eligibility requirements for the ticket type purchased.To request a transfer, please email events@tailscale.com with your name, order confirmation number, and the full name and email address of the person who will be attending in your place. If you do need to park, we recommend checking out the list of nearby garages on the SFJazz website here.

Unfortunately, SFJazz does not have a parking garage so we are not able to offer prepaid or discounted parking for TailscaleUp.

Accessibility and Inclusion

If you plan to attend in person, The SFJAZZ Center features accessible seating, elevators, and ramps to accommodate all visitors and meet ADA standards.

SFJazz has assistive listening devices available at no cost and will be available at the front desk on event day.

Our live stream will feature real time captioning.

When you register for your conference ticket you will be prompted to select your dietary restrictions. We will work with our catering partner to ensure everyone has the opportunity to eat! If you need additional assistance or have questions, reach out to events@tailscale.com

Due to space constraints of the SFJazz center we are unable to offer complimentary childcare at this year’s conference. We are hoping as TailscaleUp grows, we will be able to add childcare in the future.

Yes, SFJazz has a mothers room. When you arrive at the conference, ask the staff at registration for directions.

Yes, SFJazz will have an all gender restroom available.

Unfortunately, SFJazz has very limited space so we are unable to offer a dedicated prayer room or quiet room at this year's conference.
