## Why you're seeing this message

A newer version of the Tailscale client available for installation on your device.

## What to do

If you are using macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, or tvOS, you can update your Tailscale client from the UI, the device's app store, or the [Tailscale Packages - stable track][pk-stable] page.

If your device is running on a platform that can use the [Tailscale CLI][kb-cli] such as Linux, macOS, and Windows, you can run `tailscale update` for a one-time update, or `tailscale set --auto-update` to automatically update the OS as new versions become available.
