# Connect to colleagues' local servers from anywhere

Last validated Jan 5, 2026

When building websites or software, you often need to share in-development versions for feedback, review, or to present to stakeholders.

Tailscale lets you easily connect to your colleagues' computers, if allowed by your network policy, to access their development server. Since [IP and DNS addresses on Tailscale are consistent][kb-ip-and-dns-addresses] across Wi-Fi networks, you can connect from anywhere, even from different local networks. And your Tailscale address is only ever reachable by your team over a direct, encrypted connection, so access is secure.

Test responsive websites, remotely pair program, triage issues, or share in-progress versions without ever spinning up another demo server.

You can also share your devices with people outside your network, such as
clients, vendors, or research subjects, using
[node sharing][kb-sharing].
